Kairo collects zero data. No personal information, no usage analytics, no crash reports, no telemetry. Everything stays on your device. There is no server. There is no cloud. There is nothing to breach because we have nothing to store.
Kairo does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. Specifically:
Kairo requests the following permissions, all of which are optional:
Used solely to detect phone pickups during active focus sessions (the Focus Shield feature). Motion data is processed in real-time on your device and never stored or transmitted. If you deny this permission, the Focus Shield feature will use app lifecycle events instead of motion detection.

Optional. Used for session reminders, completion alerts, and streak notifications. All notifications are generated locally on-device.
All app data — focus sessions, scores, streaks, settings, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using Core Data and UserDefaults. This data is:
Kairo has no backend server. The app makes no network requests. There is no API, no database, no cloud storage. The app functions entirely offline.
Kairo offers an optional Pro upgrade via Apple's In-App Purchase system. All purchase processing is handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Apex Digital does not receive, store, or have access to any payment information.
Kairo does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected at all, COPPA compliance is inherent in our design.
If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update this page. However, our commitment to zero data collection is fundamental to Kairo's design and is unlikely to change.
